what do you need to create games for gaming systems?
I was just wondering what do the programmers use to create the game for systems like ps3 and the 360 or even the earlier systems? I have made alot of flash and java based games and would like to take a crack at making something I could play on my gaming system but I dont know what devlopment tools I need to get.

The 360 and ps3 games are made with special dev-kits that the company has. You can buy the dev-kits but they're usually pretty expensive. Usualy at least 2 grand.
