Against the backdrop of this contemporary high-tech era featuring assorted fabulous and awesome entertaining electronics for the sake of general publics setting great store by entertainment and excitement, the terrific and popular Xbox 360 game qualifies as a signature breakthrough and server. And so to speak, where there is Xbox games, there is great fun as well as overwhelming craze. The point to note is that the Xbox memory card does contribute to the amazing fun of the Xbox games, though the saying goes that the Xbox momery card is tantamount to unnecessary waste. But I don't buy the story. Actually the memory card can Save your Xbox 360 games, Xbox LIVE profiles and more – then take them everywhere you go. You can even download free content to your Memory Unit from Xbox 360 kiosks at participating retailers.
You know, it is easy to connect a laptop drive to an Xbox. No mods nutthin' just plug and play. Get the necessary parts and an old laptop drive and away we go! You can use other Xbox 360 USB hard-drive devices like a Digital Camera with sufficient memory, or a memory stick as well. Really with an Xbox Controller Port to PC USB adapter and any USB device you should be able to use it as a Xbox memory card. If you have a USB device that you plug into your computer (through a USB A connector) and it is suddenly automatically recognized by windows as a usable drive its worth giving it a try in your Xbox (certainly compatibility issues with some devices should be expected)
Well, when you buy an Xbox console, the memory card is not included. This is because the Xbox memory card is not really essential. The Xbox console has a large 8 GB harddisk built-in, which is used to save game information etc. Thus, an Xbox memory card is mostly useful to transport your saved game data to another Xbox when visiting a friend, or for backup purposes of your most valued game saves (useful for the truly paranoid hardcore gamers).
You may have wondered where the Xbox memory cards are inserted - and curiously, on the Xbox, the memory cards are plugged into sockets on the Xbox controller! Every standard controller has two memory card slots. We don't know what the designers had in mind there. Since the Xbox memory card is not essential compared with other Xbox 360 accessories, players wouldn't need direct access to their cards. Nobody would be have any need to frequently change or replace memory cards. We suspect that cost effectiveness played a greater role in this design. Not for the user, mind you, since the very existence of these ports on the controller probably contributes to the significant price of the controllers. Now .. imagine the rather large Xbox controller, fully equipped with the Xbox memory cards, now weighing half a ton... ok, that's exaggerated.
Anyway, every dog has its day. Even though the common parlance has it that the Xbox memory makes no difference and stands no chance of coming to the fore, the Xbox memory for my part gonna win laurels enjoying more popualrity with more revaluing the entertaining Xbox and setting great store by greater fun and bettering off good memories.
