Fists Or Weapons: Which Is Your Favourite?
Fantastic fighting games aplenty have come out of the last decade. From Mortal Kombat to the most recent episode in the Soul Calibur series, we've been spoilt for choice. With such diversity available (you can pummel your opponents with fists or weapons depending on the game; it's really up to you) there's probably a beat 'em up out there that you'd enjoy playing. But what are all these games about? Which are the biggest and, perhaps most importantly, the best? See below to find out.
Mortal Kombat
First bursting onto our screens with its visceral fatalities in 1992 (yes, really), Mortal Kombat has been infamous for its gore and the use of more realistic digitised sprites as opposed to the more conventional hand drawn ones. 2011 will see the release of the series' ninth game. Simply named Mortal Kombat (as, of course, was the very first game), the entire game has been a huge system and graphical overhaul. Pre ordering the game from Game Stop will get you a classic (or "klassic"; their word, not mine) Scorpion skin, as well as the use of his much loved fatality.
Soul Calibur
Having first started out as Soul Blade (or Soul Edge outside Australia, North America and Europe) in 1996, the Soul series has lent its name to spin offs and sequels alike. Still the premier weapon-based fighting game today, it is one of the most popular PS3 games to date. With a wide choice of characters, fighting styles, battle arenas and customisation options, it's difficult not to like Soul Calibur.
Tekken
Appearing in the December of 1994, the Tekken series has made numerous appearances in contemporary video game charts. With contestants alternately fighting for the title of the King (or Queen) of the Iron Fist Tournament or control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, there's a lot to compete for. With somewhat of a soap opera formed by the Mishima family's ongoing antics (they really don't get on well with each other, do they?), it's hard not to feel compelled to follow the story (as well as beat people up, of course).

Star Wars the force unleashed or Soul Calibur 4?
Star Wars The Force Unleashed and Soul Calibur 4 are two great games. I tryed both demos out for the xbox 360 and I am really undecided to pick one of the two games. Both of them seem to grab my interest but I can only purchase one of those games. Which one do you guys think is best? Please do not recommend other video games fore I am not interested in as of now.
