Priest Leveling Guide - Building Your Priest From The Ground Up
This Priest leveling guide
does not present a step-by-step approach to priest leveling. Other methods may offer that in some way. The tricks and tips offered in this article though will provide you a smoother transition from level to level until you reach past 70 because if you are not there yet, you would want to get there fast and quick.
{Levels 1 to 20} - At this very early level, it is very essential to do the entire quest that opens. Do not rush to get to switch to another area. This is important as there are specific quests and specific spells here that you would not want to miss. While in the area, it will be good to mosey around some more and take every opportunity that opens. Once you reach level 15, roam around chasms and mines in the area. Some runs in these areas when coupled with quests in the dungeons will accelerate you to level 18 and then with a few grinding and questing in the wailing taverns could get you faster to level 20.
{Level 21 to 30} - The deadmines and the wailing taverns here will give you a good experience. It will be tempting to go already to a higher instance but do not go there yet. Keep on grinding and questing in the area where you are located. When you are playing Alliance, try the Wetlands, Redridge or Ashenvale. When playing Horde, Duskwood, Barrens or parts of Ashenvale are fine choices. Depending on the choices that you take, acceleration to these levels will be harder, shorter or longer although every choice will be thrilling that you will not want to miss out. The Gnomergan quest for example is a good adventure that will take you from level 28 to 32 if you are a Horde Priest.
{Level 31 to 40} - The challenges in these areas will be a little more challenging and plenty but the idea is to earn up enough money so that you could buy a mount that you will need in the coming quests. If you want a quicker quest, you have to skip Razorfen downs and instead choose the cathedral or the library and uldaman (at level 38).
{Level 41 to 50} - At last you are now at Shadowform and enough money to buy a mount. You will also have less grinding to do at this stage. If you are a Shadow priest, take the quests at Tanaris. This will be your fast lane from level 41 to 50. If you are a holy priest, you could have a lot of excellent drops at Maraudon.
{Level 51 to 59} - Felwood is your top choice during the earlier levels. When playing the Shadow priest, go to Silithus or Winterspring.
{Level 60 to 70} - The easiest and fastest instance is to grind at the Hellfire Ramparts. To get to level 64 fast, you have to do the questing on the slave pens about Zangarmarsh. Now that you are here at level 64, do the underbog. If you like you can also choose the Auchenai quests. The slave pens are now less tasking and you will be going for faster runs. Now that you are done with Zangermarsh upon reaching level 65, proceed already to the Sahttrath forest and when done, do not attempt the other quests, go instead to Nagrand. The things you will be getting from the elementals will provide you later with buying or crafting epic set gear. For efficiency, set off to Shadowmoon and Netherstorm starting at level 68. Be careful on how you use your money because when you reach level 70 you would want a flying mount that could get you inside the Tempest Keep.
Understandably, it is quite tempting to learn short cuts and some really do buy a Priest leveling guide
. For some they would take the whole adventure of the game. This priest leveling guide could help.
