If I bought wrath of the Litch King and went to battle.net then and got the 10 day trial for cataclysm would i be able to buy the flight masters lisence? If so does it still work? Or is it Patched? Please Help

From a little research on Wowhead and the official WoW forums it seems you can buy the Flight Master's Licence when playing on a Cataclysm trial but it the ability to fly in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom's will be locked once the trial period ends. In order to fly in these areas again you would have to buy the Cataclysm expansion itself.
There are some comments suggesting that the ability to fly will not be locked after the trial ends but the majority disagrees. I cannot confirm this myself unfortunately because I didnt use the trial at all.
